In the Special Theory of Relativity, Einstein determined that time is relative. The rate at which time passes depends on your frame of reference. Some people may believe that time is a set measurement of, well, time. But, for our time is no more than a measurement of the other aspects of reality: space, bodies, interactions, etc. Without a space, time or living bodies could not exist. Time varies from becoming short when you are having fun to a never ending condensation of long lasting seconds. But if we had to define time, we would say it is a constant note on a piano. A motive that repeats itself without many consequences. It is merely a measurement of space by living bodies.
